The MaddHatter Memorial Rally
Debbie and I went to the Madd Hatter's Tea Party and Poker Run, which, as you can guess, is a memorial rally for MaddHatter. It was put on by Joyce (Dormouse), Hatter's wife, and her great friend Becky. The location was the America's Best Value Inn at Koenig, near IH35 in Austin. It was a small group, but we had a great time talking and reminiscing. Here are the few pics I took, and note Debbie's vest now has the American Flag on it, applied by the nice leather vender there. As usual, click any picture for a larger version.
These are from the Sunday morning service, including a video of one of Don's songs.
Legislative Day - part 1 Here is the first group of photos from Legislative Day, the one day every two years, when we bikers go to visit our legislators, and let them know we are an important part of their constituency, and we vote. We had a great time today, and we spoke to everyone we could find, about the importance of maintaining the personal freedom we so dearly cherish that are guaranteed by our constitution. So if you are a biker, or if you ride a motorcycle for fun occasionally, or simply believe that we as citizens should protect out freedoms, then please get involved. Remember the old saying, "All that is required for dis-honest men to win, is for honest men to do nothing". Remember, It is your freedom, but only as long as you are vigilant in protecting it.
Legislative Day preparations at the VFW Hall Well, the preparations for tomorrows Legislative Day were held today at the VFW Hall in north Austin. As you can see from the photos, we had a great turnout of legislative freedom fighter prepared to go the distance "politically" to protect our God given freedoms. Sputnik would be proud to see we are carrying on his legacy, even bigger and better than last year.
